A country of Paradoxes
The architecture of the country speaks for itself. 150 years of occupation whether is Imperial Russia Bolsheviks white generals or as many would say after the collapse of the Soviet Union the occupation of the petrol barons. this picture encapsulates the true spirits Azerbaijani people they’re incredibly interesting history and what they represent today. The deeply embedded concept of Islam introduced by the shivakshas Empire is still present until today, however, even an insensitive Observer could easily notice Dodds the devotion To Religion is slowly away.
Relationships with the other countries
Azerbaijan seems to be in good terms with almost all of their neighbors. Given that robust cultural and linguistic similarities with turkey seems to be the closest and military ally of Azerbaijan. Friendship between George and Azerbaijan as well as Iran and Azerbaijan fluctuates from neutral to positive. Armenia found itself on the other extreme of the spectrum. nagorno-karabakh is a region claimed by both Nations. Many people dedicated their lives to Bringing the region to the motherland or in case off people of armenia protecting the region.
Language
Unless you’re a linguist the song Black Magic you would probably not know of minority and tribal languages present predominantly in the mountainous regions of azerbaijan. 4 prevalent languages in Azerbaijan includes azerbaijani as the first and most commonly used language if you are Turkish are you can speak Turkish then you can movie rounds easily because they derive from the same linguistic off tree. Over a century of Russian occupation under face different faces left the older Generations fully fluent in Russian as it used to be obligatory to take lessons in Russian. I found many Western tourist stunt the minute they realized English is of no use with the older Generations. It’s quite the opposite where’s the younger Generations 30 years old and younger who’s first foreign language English. If you’re based in a big city like Baku then you should be able to get around with English with no major issues. Even if someone that the restaurant or at the market or in the shop would not speak English there’s always going to be someone who can eagerly help you out. It’s quite the opposite if you go tomorrow rural areas where and would be the only international language in your portfolio.
